But when Mark does not return from a business trip to the U.S. and when the hours of waiting for him stretch into days, the foundations of Hannah’s certainty begin to crack. This was an alright read. I wasn't one hundred percent sold on the writing style. This book is set in the United Kingdom so there are some British references that I didn't quite understand but some I was able to identify and guess at. Also, the author used a lot of "flashbacks", some of which I think were unnecessary. The story itself was good. I wouldn't consider it a thriller because nothing about it "thrilled" or scared me. I would classify it as a mystery. The ending to me was predictable and I called it about 50% through. Overall, I enjoyed it and would recommend it.
