I loved this book! At first, I actually thought it was a bit boring, but the story he wove of Jahanara is just so remarkable. She is a strong and cunning woman who goes through so much in her life. I got to a point where I could not stop reading. I spent a little over an hour reading today, and finished the book. I cried twice while reading this book, and if that happens then I know I loved it! Knowing that the story of the main character isn't historically accurate only mattered for a minute. After that I got sucked right in and couldn't pull away. 5/5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
