A good book from author Neil Gaiman. Anansi Boys isn't as dark as American Gods (by the same author) was, but it was a fun read. In the book, the reader follows the point of view of a handful of different characters as their stories converge and make for a great ending. I highly recommend Anansi Boys to anyone who believes in magic and its power to make life go south quick in fun and hilarious ways (assuming your not the one whose life is going south)>

I listened to this on tape, and oh my goodness, the narrator couldn't have done a better job!!! He really mastered all of the various accents required - Caribbean, British, USA - he was wonderful. It would be worth the effort just to listen to this narrator!

But, the book was very good, too. Sort of along the idea of American Gods. Very enjoyable.
