D. Edmond Miller
D. Edmond Miller was born in 1963 in Portsmouth, Virginia. In 1986 he graduated from Duke University, where he edited The Archive and received several prizes including the Newman Ivey White Award for Literature. He visited Paris in 1989 and 1991, and makes his home in Durham, North Carolina, where he is at work on a novel. "The Newlyweds," "Love Letter: A Poem," "The Goners," and "The Landscape Of Renewal" first appeared in The Archive. "Second Chance" first appeared in Carillon. The others first appeared in two privately issued collections, Bridges Burned and Solace, Etc., or as privately issued holiday greetings; except for "To Laura," which is previously unpublished.
