True Story of the Three Little Pigs, The

Jon Scieszka
A spoof on the three little pigs story, this time told from the wolf's point of view. Lane Smith also illustrated Hallowe'en ABC which was one of The New York Times Best Illustrated Books of the Year.

This is another great example of a classic, remade with a twist: humorist story and one of my favorites.

Finally!! We get to hear the other side of the story regarding the "Three Little Pigs". This takes a comical spin on the classic story. I enjoyed it and would recommend. Question is... who do you believe? The Pigs or the Wolf?

Rather cute little story turning the story of the 3 Little Pigs on it's ear. Great read-a-loud book.
We just checked out this book from the library, and my son (5yr) really enjoyed it. He thought it was so great that he requested we get a copy for his personal libray. He especially liked the pictures of Mr. Wolf in jail.
