This is a classic as well. One of the first books I ever owned, that motto of I think I can, I know I can is something I still tell myself today as an adult. This is a motivational book and inspires kids to never give up. The motto is forever stitched in my brain!!! I believe this should be one of the first books introduced to small children. It's a reminder that even when things get touch, you can still do it if you try.

Language Arts Activity: Students present to the class something that they find hard to do, that others may not find hard. Then have every student chant the motto "I think I can , I know I can" until every student has said the motto and heard the motto.
