Ian Kemp
Englishman Ian Kemp details his volunteering for American military service, while attending college in America during the Vietnam War. Assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, he flew helicopters evacuating casualties and was an infantryman in the Vietnamese jungles. At the end of his year, he volunteered a second year with the assault helicopters, which flew constantly on hazardous missions. He received twelve separate awards for valour and details his journey in this study for soldiers, statesman and the general reader. Illustrated and with maps.
