Disney's Brave (Little Golden Book)

Walt Disney Company
Pixar Animation Studio's 13th animated feature film, Disney/Pixar Brave, is an epic adventure set in the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. Determined to carve her own path in life, a skilled archer named Princess Merida defies a sacred age-old custom—and inadvertently unleashes a beastly curse upon the kingdom. To set things right, Merida embarks on a perilous quest and discovers the meaning of true bravery. This Little Golden Book retells every exciting moment of the film.

The artwork was less then desirable and the main character was (in my opinion) a brat. I understand that the main purpose of this story is to come to the conclusion to work together with family and to fight for what you believe in, but I don't feel that the delivery was up to Disney standards. I am sure I am the unpopular opinion but I think that they are more compelling and enjoyable Disney stories to consider and I wouldn't recommend this one. Which is sad because this really could have been something but just fell short.

This little golden book adaptation of brave has some nice illustrations but it cuts some scenes out. It’s a pretty good book but there are much better books about Merida out there.
