Of the four Ruth Ware books I've read, this was my favorite.  this book created a lot of suspense and I didn't see the ending coming, which I liked.

I think I read this book after I read "The Woman in Cabin 10", but I could be wrong.  In any case, it was a few years ago.

I would definitely read more Ruth Ware, but I hope the next book holds up to this one and is not rushed out the door like

This book was optioned by Reese Witherspoon to make into a movie, which seems like a good choice as people love this type of movie (i.e., Gone Girl, Girl on the Train, etc.) and I'm sure I'll see it.

Since this was Ms. Ware's first book, I felt like more time was spent on developing the characters and the storyline.  I felt like Ms. Ware's next two books were rushed to publication and weren't as well thought out or nuanced (since this books was published, Ms. Ware has writeen one book a year).

A perfect beach read.

I would recommend, but not a keeper.
