Three girls in their late teens have their worlds turned upside down when they become nannies for the summer in the trendy Hamptons. Eliza is the typical snob who comes to realize that money and status are not everything. Mara, an average small town girl, makes it into the society pages after befriending a paparazzi photographer. Brazilian bombshell, Jacqui, travels half way around the world to reunite with her true love. The girls pursue romance at night while looking after neglected rich kids during the day. Eliza picks the gardener over her trust fund boyfriend. Mara catches the eye of dreamy Ryan, her employer's oldest son while Jacqui realizes her rich boyfriend is not as good as he seems. The book drops names like a People magazine article while simultaneously making fun of high society. Although drinking and sexual situations are prevalent, the girls display good hearts. The book will be a hit with older girls with its humor, romance and pop culture references, such as P. Diddy and Prada. Submitted by Sherri Crawford.
