Despite the sensationalist title, this book is more about the interconnection between the cultures of the eastern Mediterranean and Central Asia in the Late Bronze Age. The book is structured thematically rather than chronologically, which works nicely to peel back the layers of the mystery of the Sea Peoples. I also appreciated the care with which the author connects interpretations to archaeology, which is good context for understanding the degree of certainty we can have of 3000 year old events. Quick, easy read with some depth.
