This book was a bit of a process for me. It was on and off the shelf as I found other literary distractions to entertain myself. Now I've finished and I can't say that I have formulated a solid opinion. The best way for me to describe my relationship w/ these Amazing Adventures is that the book is similar to a TV show that I grew addicted to, but new the whole time I probably had better ways to spend my time. I don't regret reading the beefy, epic book, in fact it turned very enjoyable for me, but I can't say I'm going to recommend it to anyone. (I have a copy though, if you want to try your hand at it.)

What follows are past reviews:
I picked this up again cause it was the most colorful book within reach on the shelf. It was a good couple nights of reading and getting back into the world. Then it was a bad night of getting bored by that world. Then it was back on the shelf.

I originally started this cause I loved Wonder Boys the movie and thought I'd reach a Chabon book. I guess I picked the wrong one.

Let me know if I absolutely need to start again. :O)
